Small Judo Bio: I started judo in 1996, originally part of the British Judo Council (BJC), gaining my junior black belt at the age of 15. In 2004, I decided to transfer over to the British judo Association to fulfil the hope of someday making it onto the GB squad, although many times I came close with continuous 5th places i never did find my way into the top four to break into the GB set up.
In 2013/ 2014 season I had one of my most successful years with winning the British University Championships and gaining a bronze medal at the English open.
In 2016, I decided to focus on my university degree and retired from the competitive sector and by doing so, it really allowed me to find an to give back to the sport.
So in 2017, I used my experience in the sport, to analyse the current players and help the coaches with profiling the athletes and still continue to provide the performance team with their video analysis. This includes opponent analysis, technical and tactical analysis and motivational tools.
Although i could never reach my goal of breaking onto the GB setup, i could maybe help some else achieve their goals.
